About Me
From Addiction to Wholeness: My Journey of Faith and Recovery
My name is Barnaby, and I’m not just a coach—I’m a survivor. A believer. A man who knows what it means to wrestle with darkness and hold onto God with trembling hands.
For years, I lived in a silent war with myself—bound by porn addiction, buried in shame, and haunted by the fear that I’d never be whole. I was exposed to explicit material far too young, and over time, that seed grew into a cycle of secrecy, lust, and inner torment.
I struggled with mental illness too—diagnosed with Bipolar Type 1 and later Schizoaffective Disorder. My mind wasn’t always my ally. I battled intrusive thoughts, manic highs, depressive crashes, and moments where life didn’t feel worth living. I attempted suicide. I was hospitalized. I felt lost.
But God never left me.
Even when I wanted nothing to do with Him, He was there. Patient. Present. Relentless in His love.
My recovery wasn’t neat. It wasn’t a single altar call or mountaintop moment. It was messy. Slow. Full of setbacks, doubts, and desperate prayers. But piece by piece, God rebuilt me. He showed me that grace doesn’t avoid the ugly—it enters it. It transforms it.
And He used my pain to prepare me for purpose.
Professionally, I built a successful career in sales and lead generation—helping scale startups, train teams, and pioneer outbound systems. I’ve worked alongside executives and proved my worth in high-stakes environments… all while carrying hidden battles. Now, I don’t hide.
Through Mindfully Whole Coaching, I help others step out of shame and into truth—especially those struggling with porn addiction, hypersexuality, and faith-based identity struggles. I work with men and women who feel broken, addicted, or disconnected from their purpose.
This is not about perfection. It’s about presence.
It’s about showing up, telling the truth, and letting God do what only He can do.
If you’re tired of hiding… if you’re wrestling with faith, addiction, or mental chaos… if you want to believe that wholeness is still possible—then I invite you into this journey.
You are not your past. You are not your addiction. You are not alone.
You were made to be whole. And I’d be honored to walk that road with you.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
— Psalm 147:3
